Gütermann Thread is in!

Friday, October 19th, 2007

We are happy to announce that Ipso Crafto now carries Gütermann thread in 110 yard spools of 100% Cotton, as well as their invisible threads.  This is a great addition to our growing thread collection, which also includes Coats and Clark’s Dual Duty Cotton/Polyester thread and C&C’s Button and Craft thread, which we have found to be great for beading projects.

Quickutz Die Cut Machine for in store use

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

Ipso Crafto is proud to announce that the store will now provide a Quickutz Squeeze Die Cutter for in-store cutting.  Customers must either bring their own paper or buy it at the store, i.e. this machine cannot be “rented out” to indvidual homes.  But, you can spend as much time as you like sitting in one of our velvet wingback chairs, die cutting to your heart’s content.  More die shapes to come, but for now we just have the 11 basics that come with the machine (pictured below).

The machine will also be available all through Scrappy Hour, October 18th, from 6 PM to 8.

One Crafty Pumpkin

Friday, October 12th, 2007

Karen is very happy with the Dia de los Muertos themed white pumpkin.   After picking it at Rock Hill Orchard, she used black felt, round sequins, and Aleene’s tacky glue to make the simple but dramatic face to resemble a Mexican sugar skull.
