Private Sewing Lessons
Due to popular demand, Ipso Crafto will now offer private sewing lessons. Choose from the following beginner’s courses, each lasting approximately one hour:
- Piecework quilting
- Mending (bring pieces from home that need repair)
- Following a pattern (Ipso Crafto does not carry apparel patterns, so please purchase them before your lesson)
- Learning how to use your personal sewing machine. If you cannot transport your machine to our store, you can use our Kenmore all-purpose model to learn the basics, although not everything may be exactly the same on your machine.
- Hand sewing and embroidery
Lessons can be scheduled between 9 am and 11 am and between 6 pm and 8 pm on weekdays, and any time on the weekend (according to availability)
The cost, not including fabric or thread, is $40 for one adult and $20 for each additional adult or child taking the class at the same time. A deposit for the entire cost is due when you schedule the class. Kids are welcome to take any of these classes with a parent or guardian, but may not attend the class alone. A maximum of 4 people may take a class at one time.
